Details: Originally formed in 1994, the Los Angeles quartet , Goldfinger along with No Doubt, Sublime, and Rancid, formed a foundation for the U.S. ska-punk movement in the mid-to late '90s. Upon their formation, word quickly spread among fans about 'action-packed live shows and their humorous choice of cover songs. Their cover of Nena's `80s hit '99 Red Balloons' is still a live favorite. Goldfinger's self-titled full-length debut hit the stores in 1996, spawning the popular single/video 'Here in Your Bedroom' which became a staple at MTV. The same year, Goldfinger toured alongside The Sex Pistols, No Doubt, Reel Big Fish, and the multi-band festival, the Vans Warped Tour. Success continued with subsequent albums, and their songs have been featured on a multitude of hit soundtracks including 'American Pie,' 'The Waterboy,' 'BASEketball' and 'Dead Man On Campus.' Their live shows continue to attract ravenous fans worldwide and receive rave reviews for their energy and spontaneity. This limited edition package, The Best of Goldfinger, is the group's first-ever greatest hits collection and includes several hard-to-find soundtrack songs, an unreleased track as well as a Bonus DVD.
