Details: On a crisp morning in 1932, bride-to-be Dolly (Felicity Jones) is hiding in her bedroom drinking rum, daydreaming of the past whimsical summer. As her family members arrive with all their cheerfulness, chaos and grievances, Dolly’s exasperated mother (Elizabeth McGovern) tries to quell speculations as to the bride’s whereabouts. To add to the trouble, Joseph (Luke Treadaway), Dolly's lover from the previous summer, arrives unexpectedly and further throws Dolly’s feelings into turmoil.
