The dark blue field features a column of terracotta, conjoined hexagonal medallions, flanked by half-medallions filled with plants, flowerheads, animals, and female figures—possibly a family portrait of the weaver—all enclosed by an ivory border of continuous star rosettes linked by angular vines.
